Flip open? Normal default mode.SAN DIEGO-( BUSINESS WIRE)- Kyocera International Inc. Flip closed? defaults to speakerphone mode. The bug in the software must be related to the state of the flip. I can then turn off speakerphone mode by pressing the speaker/camera button then answer the call. Even with open to answer turned off, if an incoming call is received with the flip closed, then I open the flip and look at the screen without answering the call, I can see the "speakerphone mode" icon displayed next to the incoming call. It only defaults to speaker when an incoming call is received with the flip closed. If the flip phone is open, and idle, an incoming call defaults to normal mode. ![]() I have noticed one small detail though after an hour of troubleshooting. I have tried many different settings, tried turning off open to answer, close to end etc. If the computers in airplanes were this unreliable, there'd be many crashes. Plus software updates should be 110% thoroughly tested before being released. Is there a fix for this? Or is there a way to roll back the stupid software update? This is yet another reason when it comes to software "updates", is to stick to the #1 rule, "If it ain't broke, don't fix it". Having the same problem, this is EXTREMELY annoying to say the least.
